The company came into being in 1985 at Custines near Nancy in eastern France. The main activity of the company was trading in lighting materials for foreign markets.
In 1989 3e International began an industrial adventure with an original idea for public lighting: to both design and manufacture the luminaire, its bracket and pole.
This concept was to give rise to ranges of light furnishings allowing 3e International to set itself apart from its competitors and to become leader on the decorative lighting market in France.
In June 2006, the company employed 200 people and is in constant progression with a turnover of 42 million Euro, 20% of which comes from exports.
